<text>Poor mans Photoshop.

If you are an amateur, stick with this. You can do lots of stuff with Elements. With pse 7 you can even use layers.

Even interface is nicer compared to the Photoshop versions (including CS4)</text>

Adobe Photoshop Elements is the consumer version of the Adobe Photoshop raster image editing product, sold at a fraction (roughly 1/6th) of the cost of the professional product or bundled with related hardware such as scanners and digital cameras.

Originally introduced alongside Photoshop version 7, Photoshop Elements targets photography enthusiasts and thus lacks many features that make it useful in a proper print production environment. For example, Photoshop Elements cannot export files in the CMYK color mode, supports a simplified color management system, and excludes detailed soft-proofing. It also either eliminates completely or offers simplified versions of some of the more powerful plug-ins, along with a number of features aimed at non-experts (such as removing the red-eye effect or changing the skin tone in a picture). An example of a redesigned feature would be the Variations correction dialog. Some versions can, however, open, edit, and save PDFs.

K-Multimedia Player is a video and audio player for Microsoft Windows which can play a large number of formats such as VCD, DVD, AVI, MKV, Ogg, OGM, 3GP, MPEG-1/2/4, WMV, RealMedia, FLV and QuickTime among others. It handles a wide range of subtitles and allows one to capture audio, video, and screenshots.

The player provides both internal and external filters with a fully controlled environment in terms of connections to other splitters, decoders, audio/video transform filters and renderers without grappling with the DirectShow merit system. Internal filters are not registered into the system's registry to prevent the operating system from confusing system filters with K-Multimedia Player's filters

The player can set multifarious audio and video effects, slow down or increase playback speed, select parts of a video as favorites, do various A-B repeats, remap the keys of remote interface for HTPC including overlay screen controls, change a skin dynamically depending on a media type playing, and many more. KMP is completely customizable thanks to a wide selection of skins and color schemes, and the configuration options are very extensive.

“The desktop search engine, Copernic, does for the PC what Google does for the web, and with the same astonishing speed. No matter how big the hard drive, just type in a keyword or two and you can track down pretty much anything, even ancient emails. Copernic works by creating an index of everything on the hard drive. This index is created and updated whenever the computer is idle, and so has no effect on the machine's performance. The result is a lightning-fast search engine that needs few clues to track down the most vaguely remembered document or an old email address. There are other desktop search engines, but Copernic is the one hoovering up the plaudits and industry awards. That is not unrelated to how much it costs: absolutely nothing.”

Avafind is a tool that indexes your files based on filename and allows you to search the index. Mind you it indexes only the filenames and not the content like Google Desktop. Its incredibly efficient and slightly taxing to the memory.Playlist population , opening the folder having the file or copying the path of the file....everything is a breeze.

This is the kind of tool that makes you feel &quot;how can so many people live without it&quot;.

Well worth paying $20 for the pro version. Highly addictive and highly recommended.

<text>A nice replacement for Recycle Bin in your desktop.

It has different modes of deleting:

   1. a fast destruction (standard 1-round filling of random data)
   2. a forced destruction (3 rounds of filling according to DoD 5220.22M standard)
   3. an ultimate destruction (35 rounds of filling with data according to Guttman algorithm).

In short, use it!</text>

An ordinary deleting of files isn't enough! When you wish to delete any sensitive information, like industrial secrets or some unwanted content, you want to be sure that it will be deleted permanently. Sorry to say, there is a plenty of software recovery tools that can restore your deleted items. If you need to destroy any data and eliminate any possibility of its restoration you need a "shredder". This software destroys the data you choose before the deletion, using a complicated procedure of filling the actual content with random data.

Gmail, officially Google Mail in Germany and the United Kingdom, is a free POP3 and IMAP webmail service provided by Google. On April 1, 2004 the product began as an invitation-only beta release. On February 7, 2007 the beta version was opened to the general public. With an initial storage capacity of 1 GB (and growing, now over 7 GB), it drastically increased the standard for free storage.
Today it's also possible to visit the site trough: http://www.gmail.com, although it redirects still to mail.google.com

It also can be used as a SaaS-webmail for your domain with help of Google Apps.

Burnout Paradise (formerly known as Burnout 6) by Criterion Games is the
seventh game in the Burnout video game series. It was released in January
2008 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. It was also released on the PlayStation
Store in September 2008 and will be available on Microsoft Windows from
February 2009. It has an open world set in the fictional Paradise City, with
no loading times and no traditional online lobbies or game menus. The song
