<text>WordPress is getting a little bloated lately, but I still love it. I've tried other platforms, hosted and on my own server, but I always come back to WordPress because I love the plugins, themes, and community around the project.</text>

<description>WordPress is a state-of-the-art publishing platform with a focus on aesthetics, web standards, and usability.
WordPress has a templating system, which includes widgets that can be rearranged without editing PHP or HTML code, as well as themes that can be installed and switched between. The PHP and HTML code in themes can also be edited for more advanced customizations. WordPress also features integrated link management; a search engine-friendly, clean permalink structure; the ability to assign nested, multiple categories to articles; multiple author capability; and support for tagging of posts and articles.</description>

<text>It kinda kills (read: freezes) my iTunes when it adds all 400 or whatever new tracks I add to my music folder at a time, but I love this program. I hated having to re-add my whole music folder to iTunes because I was too lazy to go through and see what folders/albums I had added and re-add things when iTunes puts purchased items in the wrong folder and I move it. I just put my stuff in the sub-folders I have them in normally and let iTFW scan and do all the obnoxious adding for me! 7.5 euros is a little steep to remove the nag screen (which will drive you absolutely insane - they even pop up before you exit the program), but I really love the program!

I would love to see the background monitoring start when Windows starts.</text>

<description>iTunes Folder Watch is a companion for iTunes versions 6 onwards. Are you frustrated that iTunes does not automatically detect new tracks in certain nominated folders and add them to the library automatically? This program does exactly that. It allows you to set up Watch folders and to evaluate whether there are any new tracks in them which do not exist in iTunes, and allows you to add them selectively or fully automatically</description>

<text>It's got a lot of extra crap I don't need (video, audio ,ads, yahoo music/games junk), but some people could find the mail notifier useful. However, if I wanted to use a web cam or a microphone, I'd use Skype. I generally want a small, light-on-the-CPU program to send instant messages back and forth, with no ads and no extra junk cluttering the window up completely unnecessarily. I do like the chat archiving feature, though.</text>

<text>Video converting for the average idiot. Honestly, I don't know much about video files except for the names of some file types and that I want to put my videos on my iPod. Handbrake lets me do that without having to pay a bunch of money or having to spend hours reading tutorials on the web.</text>

<text>Booklog is a great Japanese media shelf site. It's especially helpful for people who own Japanese-language media and who can't easily find amazon.co.jp links for all their items. You can add pretty much any type of media you would want to tell the world you own - books, video games, magazines, CDs, DVDs, and it will be displayed on a little wooden bookshelf. There is also a widget that can be embedded in webpages.

The site is entirely in Japanese, so users who aren't fluent in Japanese may find themselves checking the page source and using an online translator to learn to use it.</text>
