      <description>Social Messaging Streamlined.

The Nambu Network is creating the best possible social messaging experience: elegantly integrated with a superior look and feel.

Nambu OS X is still in beta, but progressing quickly.

    * Great Twitter support with multiple accounts, timelines, mentions and direct mentions in a single or separate streams.

    * Twitter Groups so you can separate people or services into separate groups so you never miss that key tweet.

    * Threaded @mentions so conversations you are having appear together in one place, with the original tweet you sent.

    * Persistent Twitter Search so you can track a keyword on Twitter in real-time, or check out the latest trends.

    * Multiple view options so you can combine everyting into a single stream, have Twitter feel like Mac Mail, or see mutliple columns at the same time.

    * Integrated tr.im support for URL shortening with your tr.im or Nambu account to track statistics.

    * And more...

<text>Great game. The online play makes it a lot of fun.

It definitely takes a lot of getting used to, but despite the steep learning curve, it plateaus pretty quickly. From that point forward, it's all refinement.</text>

<description>Toribash is a ragdoll-physics, turn-based fighting game created by Hampus S&#246;derstr&#246;m (AKA Hampa), a Swedish software developer. Toribash was a &quot;Best Game Idea&quot; finalist at the 2006 Swedish Game Awards.

The basic aim of the game is to fight the opponent, scoring points for damage. Some limbs break easier then others, others give more points when hit. To get more points, each joint can be relaxed, contracted, extended or held. This makes the gameplay very open-ended as there are no set moves, although many people will copy a move which seems to work well.

Toribash is a shareware game. Simply go to Toribash.com to download it. Unlike Direct X, Open GL lets all formats of computers download and play the game including Linux and Mac.

When you do become a registered player it is not just for a month or yearly, it is for life. Many new features await you. You can become an official member of the Toribash forum. A widely expanding forum that has been around ever since the administrator Veb, created it. Ever since that occurred, new opportunities awaited for the Toribash game as a whole. Two pieces are better than one.

Toribash has turned into a game that keeps getting better and better as time goes on; a developing experience. It makes the game stay refreshing every time you play it. From new updates, to new capabilites such as joint color, blood color, torso color etc., it all boils down to Toribash being one of the most improved games anyone has ever seen.</description>

<text>I hate installers to begin with. In OSX land, where I live, applications shouldn't need installers. I don't care if it's a cross platform application and it needs an installer on other platforms- there is no reason TurboTax needs an installer on OSX.

But it's worse than that. No, for some reason, when an application launches a Vise-X installer (say, when TurboTax updates), it leaps to the front and takes focus. Why? Why do I care? The fact that I might be doing something more interesting than watching a progress bar is irrelevant to Vise-X.</text>

<text>Ugh, I hate it. HATE IT. I'm no fan of Flash to begin with, and this damn thing lets Flash run as a native application.

The big problem with that is there is no canonical widget set for Flash. No default buttons or drop downs. Everybody makes their own. This makes it inconsistent with my OSes visual theme, and that upsets me. A lot.

Flash should burn in a firey hell. Air can feed the flames.</text>

<description>The Adobe&#174; AIR&#174; runtime enables you to have your favorite web applications with you all the time. Since applications built for Adobe AIR run on your desktop computer without a web browser, they provide all the convenience of a desktop application.

Adobe&#174; AIR&#174; is a cross-operating system runtime that lets developers combine HTML, Ajax, Adobe Flash&#174;, and Adobe Flex&#174; technologies to deploy rich Internet applications (RIAs) on the desktop. AIR allows developers to use familiar tools such as Adobe Dreamweaver&#174; CS3, Flex Builder&#8482; 3, Flash CS3 Professional, or any text editor to build their applications and easily deliver a single application installer that works across operating systems.</description>
