Can we clarify if this team is dedicated to Free Software as envisaged by the Free Software Foundation, or are you all thinking of freeware (free as in price). I prefer to see freeware excluded as it is not true Free Software.

It would be great if we could write our own client, since I am currently stuck on an ancient 9x pc in which there is no client that will run on it. My main pc is having hardware issues. (doesn't stop me from loving & using software though)
Why can't we write our own client for the wakoopa API?
