Wow. So the NES was actually out for 3 years before I was born? Then it must've been successful for a long time. Although I never got a SNES or a SEGA or anything until the N64 came out. I'd say about 11 years or so for me then.

The NES came to North America, Europe, and Austrailia in 1985...however in Asia it came out -- as the Famicom -- in 1983.
I've been playing since the NES came out. Of course one of my first games was Super Mario. I'm 20 now so, I don't know how long ago it was.
