Just for everyone else's info; yeah they do appear like a 'C' drive would but usually take the next available letter and D is usually taken up by the optical disk drive so its usually E or F, just double click it in 'My Computer' and you have another hard drive ;)

Im thinking of buying a portable external hard drive 160GB (usb 2.0 ->not just yet)to get free space for my other pc as i have only 55GB. I just want to know will this work just like a 'c' drive would when i plug it in? Also how much would it around about cost. I know were to buy one e.g ebuer, mymemory, websystems etc. Thanks ANYONE!
