    The interface changes from system to system, depending on OS. And some themes fix the hugeass buttons (that's why they're there, yknow). I've also found it leaks memory, but that's usually Flash's fault for me. And you can get, yknow, addons, to customise the download windows. Or you could do something in the spirit of the fox and make your own addon to make it exactly how you want it. And you must be looking at some ancient sites; FF renders everything fine for me - when I use IE (6, 7 and 8) half the websites don't load right. And as for "better", FF actually does, according to the Acid 2 and 3 tests.

    IE tends to render javascript on pages better than FF simply because more websites are written with the IE's javascript api in mind than FF's...And for better or worse they're not completely interchangeable--thus some sites show up better on FF and others on IE.
    @Devil: Seems like your two complains can be solved via 2 addons...Speaking of which IE7 seems to have addon extensibility as well doesn't it? Who needs icons anyway, keyboard shortcuts are far more efficient ;)
    @existance: IE hasn't always been garbage (re: the early 90s). It belongs in a museum not a garbage heap. Ironically it's security holes can be fixed with addons...

    Now now, each to his own so need for threats :) The fox to me is the worst thing ever, i don't need a gazzillion add-ons, i don't like the interface, the big clunky buttons for schoolchildren, and i dont like the icon for that matter. I find it leaks memory, thats FF3 and FF2, i also do not like having a download window like it is, which i have to keep clearing and then closing. I mean i wanna go straight to a browser, it's all set up, and ready to go. I also find IE7 renders the page better, and has far less problems with flash or java.

    @devil_may_laugh Die just die give up on life because your useless IE is garbage and always will be garbage. Have fun surfing the net on the biggest security hole known to man.

    If we're running programs through wine (or its branches), does Wakoopa only pick up on the "parent" wine proess?

    There's something slightly ironic about windows explorer and IE that high up on the Usage list. I can't put my finger on it though.

    @jewishsnowninja :
    With a little search you would have sean that its possible with wine. http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=14154 It has gold status, meaning you have a relative high chance of succes.
