this is THE BEST free and open source icon theme ever, i use it in my applications
I'm using the default set, not very adventurous with blinging the desktop, although in process of checking the below URLs.
It would be cool if the Tango project team put a call out for suggesting icons to incorporate say in an extra/misc category.
