<text>Has been my editor of choice for quite some time now. Has got some unique features among it's windows competitors like a mini version control system, support for textmate snippets and bundles, themes for syntax highlighting and more.

Since the company behind it has been made into an open company, it's seeing a lot of releases.

I really wish though that they would incorporate some of the new features from notepad++, which for an free editor, is pretty damn good. Performance could also be improved by a bit.

btw, I edit a lot of php/html/css files on this editor, for those who might want the extra information.</text>

<text>Good one. Definitely supports more formats ouf of the box than Gomplayer. Better interface/performance than VLC. Supports tabs to save separate playlists on. Allows a good range of shortcuts and customization of shortcuts. Good subtitle support.

I do have some minor issues though. But overall, I would say among the very best video player I've seen yet in windows.</text>

<description>K-Multimedia Player is a video and audio player for Microsoft Windows which can play a large number of formats such as VCD, DVD, AVI, MKV, Ogg, OGM, 3GP, MPEG-1/2/4, WMV, RealMedia, FLV and QuickTime among others. It handles a wide range of subtitles and allows one to capture audio, video, and screenshots.

The player provides both internal and external filters with a fully controlled environment in terms of connections to other splitters, decoders, audio/video transform filters and renderers without grappling with the DirectShow merit system. Internal filters are not registered into the system's registry to prevent the operating system from confusing system filters with K-Multimedia Player's filters

The player can set multifarious audio and video effects, slow down or increase playback speed, select parts of a video as favorites, do various A-B repeats, remap the keys of remote interface for HTPC including overlay screen controls, change a skin dynamically depending on a media type playing, and many more. KMP is completely customizable thanks to a wide selection of skins and color schemes, and the configuration options are very extensive.</description>
