<text>A vector tool on Windows? I've been using it on Linux! I think it's a cross-platform app.

From its download page:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/fontforge/files/
Mac, cygwin, RPM binaries are available.

Debian also ships it:

So do Ubuntu, Fedora, Gentoo:

<text>I find arrow keys and folks (needless to say about the mouse) too far to reach and too clumsy to work with when switching to other editors, including this browser text box I'm using to enter this review. I really wish all editors had vi key bindings!

My problem is, wakoopa never detects my use of it. So, I haven't been counted as a vim user so far, and can't add it as my favorite. That's too bad!</text>

<description>Vim, which stands for Vi IMproved, is an open source, multiplatform text editor extended from vi. It was first released by Bram Moolenaar in 1991. Since then, numerous features have been added to Vim, many of which are helpful in editing program source code. Vim and vi are very popular editors for programmers and users of Unix-like operating systems.[1]</description>

<text>I like its being closely integrated with GNOME.

Before using it, I usually customize the tool bar by moving everything into a single bar, to save vertical space.

My favorite feature is smart bookmark. It allows me to add quick search shortcuts right in the same location bar. This saves more space in the location bar than the separate search bar design in Firefox/Iceweasel, as well as provides quicker access -- just Ctrl-L and type your keyword and then select the desired search engine. No separate shortcuts for typing URL and search keyword.

For more features, some extensions from GNOME (http://projects.gnome.org/epiphany/extensions - Debian: epiphany-extensions) and from third party (http://live.gnome.org/Epiphany/ThirdPartyExtensions - Debian: epiphany-extensions-more) are available.

Interesting extensions include News Feed Subscription (a perfect integration to feed reader like liferea); Page Info (page content analysis, which is useful when you like to find the embeded media, for example); Tab Groups (to open relevant tabs next to the referer tab, instead of always at the end).

For third-party extensions, I think the most useful ones are Video Downlader (useful for those who like to keep YouTube clips locally --but it sometimes buggy, though) and View Source the fast way (using gecko view-source: instead of opening a new GEdit window to show page source).

One feature I find missing, though, is the flash block. Currently, I rely on swfdec's pause/play to block flash animations which insanely consume CPU load from time to time. But some flashes still appear to cause heavy CPU load even when paused. In this case, Firefox/Iceweasel performs better by totally blocking the flash contents.</text>

<description>Epiphany is a simple yet powerful GNOME web browser targeted at non-technical users. Its principles are simplicity and standards compliance. Simplicity is achieved by a well designed user interface and reliance on external applications for performing external tasks (such as reading email). Simplicity should not mean less powerful. Standards compliance is achieved on the HTML side by using the Gecko rendering engine, as developed for the Mozilla and Iceweasel browsers; and on the user interface side by closely following the GNOME Human Interface Guidelines (HIG) and by close integration with the GNOME desktop.</description>
