• A ~$20 upgrade to Pro five years ago in 10.3.9 + Perian + habitual obsessive editing of all video files + peace of mind knowing it's Apple and upgrades won't break = TREMENDOUSLY HAPPY TOM
• I've tested Preview right to the limit, turning it into a logo maker (w/ COMPLETE transparency, great for webdev & icon editor, again love me some transparency!)
• A stylish albeit beta and perhaps abandoned borderless video player with full screen and dual monitor support. Excellent for watching all QT compatible vids.
• Simpliest the easiest way to produced the most reliable cloned back ups. CCC and Superduper - well... hopefully you back up redundantly so one will work.
• Quirky but lightweight; lightweight but quirky.
• 1 gig or less running 10.5? this will help max memory.
• Supreme thanks to crew at Flying Meat for a Lite Version for the poor. ;)
• Runs circles around it's OOo's Intel counterpart. And where's the OOo PPC? Neo's got it!
• Like so many of the built in Apple apps, the best screen sharing app hands down.
