<text>Just doesn't come up to snuff for me. I tried it, but in comparison to Outlook 2007, Thunderbird 2, and FeedDemon, there's really no contest. I wanted to like it, I really did, but I just can't.

Examples: Thunderbird and Outlook scroll through posts when you press Space. Feedreader? Not so much; it simply skips to the next one. In Outlook, you can select a group at a time and mark it read. Feedreader? Nope: it has groups, but they don't do a whole lot really. In FeedDemon, you can open a folder and see all the posts inside -- and read and mark them read, too, without selecting them individually. Feedreader? You have to go through the messages one by one, which is slightly slower.

None of these were deal-breakers, but together they're quite disappointing. It simply appears that the developers didn't take enough time to look at their competitors, copy their best features, and fix their flaws -- and for a program to be unable to best Thunderbird in the user interface... well, that's a pretty terrible program, I gotta say.</text>

<description>FeedReader is software that allows you to read your
RSS and XML syndicated news. Some websites have a RSS or
XML
address that show the last notices or news, FeedReader is like this application.
In this way from unique software and without opening different websites you can look the last news and access to what you
need. It&#8217;s fast, easy and a friendly tool. To read this type of syndicate notices you will get a list of your preferred sites and content of the same just with one click. If you access one of them, on the other frame you will be able to navigate through the website from where the notice is loaded.
Its function is very simple but more than useful; you can add the selected RSS from blogs and other websites to keep
yourself informed. It does not affect the performance of the system, it allows you to minimize the software into the taskbar, and when the reader receives any update from the site a pop-up will be displayed informing you about the update (windows live messenger pop-up style).</description>

<text>Thunderbird is still having growing pains, but I'm happy with the direction Mozilla Messaging is taking its revitalization in version 3.0. I expect Thunderbird will soon have a lot more of Firefox's best attributes, since it now has a lot of developers working on it for the first time in a long while.

Even in its neglect, though, it's remained a solid mail client, and I recommend it.</text>

<text>On the whole, I'm quite satisfied with Facebook, despite the perennial controversies that rage around nearly everything they do.
Mostly, this is because everything just works, and because so many people are on there: most of my friends are on Facebook, and it's the best place to catch up on random things they're doing.

I also like the fine-grained privacy controls Facebook offers, being something of a control freak, and though I don't lock much down, it's good to know the options are there.

In fact, the only complaint I really have is the chat feature, which just isn't complete enough.

Despite that, I expect Facebook to be one of the most useful web apps for a long time to come.</text>

<description>Facebook is a social networking website launched on February 4, 2004. The free-access website is privately owned and operated by Facebook, Inc. Users can join networks organized by city, workplace, school, and region to connect and interact with other people. People can also add friends and send them messages, and update their personal profile to notify friends about themselves. The website's name refers to the paper facebooks depicting members of a campus community that some US colleges and preparatory schools give to incoming students, faculty, and staff as a way to get to know other people on campus. </description>

<text>Firefox's customizability is probably the best thing about it: I have over 50 extensions installed, and I love how easy it is to change everything about the browser!

Then, too, it's quite stable and, I think, both faster and smaller than Firefox 2.0 was.

All in all, I consider Firefox the best browser around right now.</text>

<description>Mozilla Firefox is a free and open source web browser descended from the Mozilla Application Suite, managed by the Mozilla Corporation. Firefox had 24.07% of the recorded usage share of web browsers as of October 2009, making it the second-most popular browser worldwide, after Internet Explorer, which is the factory default browser on all Windows computers.

In 5 months, Firefox has gathered steam and now owns more than 25% of usage share of web browsers closing the gap between it and IE.

To display web pages, Firefox uses the Gecko layout engine, which implements some current web standards plus a few features which are intended to anticipate likely additions to the standards.

Firefox includes tabbed browsing, a spell checker, incremental find, live bookmarking, a download manager, and an integrated search system that uses the user's desired search engine. Functions can be added through add-ons created by third-party developers, the most popular of which include Adblock Plus, Video DownloadHelper, NoScript, Personas, FlashGot, and Greasemonkey, along with many others.

Firefox runs on various versions of Microsoft Windows (version 3.5 supports Windows Vista and XP; although not officially supported as of November 2009, Firefox is compatible with Windows 7), Mac OS X (10.4 or later officially supported), most Linux distributions, and many other Unix-like operating systems.

Its current stable release branch is version 3.5, first released on June 30th, 2009. Firefox's source code is free software, released under a tri-license of GPL/LGPL/MPL.</description>
