<text>Apart from the fact it tends to crash a lot...I find this a superior and popular browser...when it crashes it will restore your previous tabs etc...this is not a 100 percent foolproof but almost...I put the crashing down to the fact that one has too many extensions...I notice Microsoft have copied Firefox's tab feature...I try not to use Microsoft unless forced to for updates...the spin-off of F/F called the Wyzo browser uses F/F extensions and is not as fast as some say it is..all up I rate Firefox as number one in my estimation..A lot of credit is due to the devoted people who take a lot of time writing up new extensions..in my opinion a small fee should be mandatory for these people even if F/F is open source.</text>

Mozilla Firefox is a free and open source web browser descended from the Mozilla Application Suite, managed by the Mozilla Corporation. Firefox had 24.07% of the recorded usage share of web browsers as of October 2009, making it the second-most popular browser worldwide, after Internet Explorer, which is the factory default browser on all Windows computers.

In 5 months, Firefox has gathered steam and now owns more than 25% of usage share of web browsers closing the gap between it and IE.

To display web pages, Firefox uses the Gecko layout engine, which implements some current web standards plus a few features which are intended to anticipate likely additions to the standards.

Firefox includes tabbed browsing, a spell checker, incremental find, live bookmarking, a download manager, and an integrated search system that uses the user's desired search engine. Functions can be added through add-ons created by third-party developers, the most popular of which include Adblock Plus, Video DownloadHelper, NoScript, Personas, FlashGot, and Greasemonkey, along with many others.

Firefox runs on various versions of Microsoft Windows (version 3.5 supports Windows Vista and XP; although not officially supported as of November 2009, Firefox is compatible with Windows 7), Mac OS X (10.4 or later officially supported), most Linux distributions, and many other Unix-like operating systems.

Its current stable release branch is version 3.5, first released on June 30th, 2009. Firefox's source code is free software, released under a tri-license of GPL/LGPL/MPL.

<text>I must admit I had a shock to see I was the weekly top user of StumbleUpon...Although in between E-mailing on outlook and installing the odd application...I do tend to spend all of my waking hours on StumbleUpon and some when I should be asleep on StumbleUpon...I like the site..I like reviewing sites on there...I am amazed at the literacy of some stumblers and also at some of illiterate ones...the banal comments some of these make are ridiculous It was created to review sites you yourself liked...by using a special feature on it called the toolbar which has two images a thumb up or thumb down.
What I do not like is the blatant plagiarism used when thumbing up and reviewing.
Another pet hate is people who wish to be friends with you on StumbleUpon demand that you thumb up and dig or send to reddit...according to the Stumble code of ethics this is frowned upon and can get them ,even you thrown off StumbleUpon...But after all that I still like it and find I seem to be learning new things all the time.
So good on yah StumbleUpon

<text>I find outlook office whether 2003 or 2007 an excellent programme...a tad expensive but it has very many features so one cannot complain...in fact I have used this application for many years now from when I had windows 97..some may have difficulty in downloading pop from web mails but that is not outlooks fault it is the fault of whoever your ISP is..Big pond is amongst the worst I have encountered.
Outlook has many programmes on it very many I heartily recommend it. </text>

Audacity is a digital audio editor and recording application. Audacity is cross-platform and is available for Windows, Mac OSX, Linux and BSD.

Audacity was created by Dominic Mazzoni while he was a graduate student at Carnegie Mellon University. Mazzoni now works at Google, but is still the main developer and maintainer of Audacity, with help from many others around the world.

The latest stable release of Audacity is 1.2.6, released on 15 November 2006. As of 30 Jan 2009, it was the 8th most popular download from SourceForge.net, with over 54 million downloads. Audacity won the SourceForge.net 2007 Community Choice Award for Best Project for Multimedia. Audacity is free software and is licensed under the GNU General Public License version two, but may update to GPLv3 after version 1.4.0.

About Google News

Google News is a computer-generated news site that aggregates headlines from news sources worldwide, groups similar stories together and displays them according to each reader's personalized interests.

Traditionally, news readers first pick a publication and then look for headlines that interest them. We do things a little differently, with the goal of offering our readers more personalized options and a wider variety of perspectives from which to choose. On Google News we offer links to several articles on every story, so you can first decide what subject interests you and then select which publishers’ accounts of each story you’d like to read. Click on the headline that interests you and you'll go directly to the site which published that story.

Our articles are selected and ranked by computers that evaluate, among other things, how often and on what sites a story appears online. We also rank based on certain characteristics of news content such as freshness, location, relevance and diversity. As a result, stories are sorted without regard to political viewpoint or ideology and you can choose from a wide variety of perspectives on any given story. We'll continue to improve Google News by adding sources, fine-tuning our technology and providing Google News to readers in even more regions.

Features

Personalized news: No one can read all the news that’s published every day, so why not set up your page to show you the stories that best represent your interests?

Alerts: You can sign up to receive weekly, daily or as-it-happens email alerts on any topic that interests you.

News for your mobile phone: If you have a mobile data plan, you can access a special version of Google News right from your mobile phone.

Feeds: You can receive updates of various sections of Google News or Google News search results by subscribing to RSS or Atom feeds in your favorite feed reader.

News archive search: Search and explore information from historical archives dating back over 200 years.
