5063 5 Vegas is a great alternative to Windows Movie Maker with professional quality editing. The price tag is not much compared with other professional software. The interface is easy to use when you're doing general editing, but when you're trying to create advanced effects it's still not too difficult to figure out. Sometimes it's a bit weird with avis, but other than that I've had no problems.
